3/13/14 Geography
As we have been for the past few geography classes, yesterday, we looked at the map of Africa and collectively attempted to fill in the country names. Once we had finished the map (we had done 2/3 of it last class), we explored google street view throughout Africa.

I've enjoyed your short entries about your classes. What are you enjoying the most and why? Do you wish there were more science in kitchen science? What's the objective of the African geography exercise: will you study a specific country/regions; will you compare & contrast cities to Somerville? Wil you complete most of algebra 1 by June? Curious to know more :)!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if you're able to build on any African geography knowledge that you gained at the Healey -- as I know that you did some case studies on micro-enterprises in Africa?
ReplyDeleteGlad to know geography is on the agenda Max. There's a lot of history in geography.
